We are very pleased to offer to you this official invitation to come and join us at the International Conference 'Plant Growth, Nutrition & Environment Interactions', one of four VIPCA Conferences being organized in beautiful Vienna in 2012! 

Vienna is the capital of Austria located in the heart of Europe on the banks of the Danube river, and considered as one of the three most important economic, cultural and touristic large cities of central Europe: besides Budapest and Prague. Apart from providing top science the Conference will capture the spirit of the city thanks to the central location of the venue offering a multitude of cultural events.

The International Conference 'Plant Growth, Nutrition & Environment Interactions' (February 18 - 21, 2012) will cover the recent advances in following research areas:

Amongst the invited speakers are internationally known names such as S. Schubert, H. Rennenberg, M. Stitt, K.H. Mühling, N. von Wirén, A.J. Bloom, A. Amtmann, W.J. Horst, W.W. Wenzel, S. Weise, G. Krouk, F. Martin, Z.Y. Wang, A.T. Classen, Y.F. Tsay, G. Vert, J.C. Davidian, I. Kovalchuk, M.J. Crabbe and others. Approximately 300-350 participants are expected including almost 40 speakers and many presentations selected from abstracts. The program combines plenary lectures, poster sessions, and sightseeing tours.

The Organising Committee announces that the delivered Lectures of the Conference can be published as Full Articles in a special issue of the newly founded journal "FRONTIERS IN PLANT NUTRITION".

All papers will undergo an accelerated and transparent peer-review process before acceptance as a regular or opinion paper (http://www.frontiersin.org/plant_nutrition/about).
